How to Utilize a Music Mixer Online to Make Beats and Music from Any Location

Having a music mixer online is an absolute necessity either if you’re just starting out learning or a seasoned artist.  I made a huge mistake early in my career when amazing beats would come into my mind but I would wait until I got home and sat down comfortably to compose them.  By that time, the beats never sounded as good.  It’s because I couldn’t remember how it sounded EXACTLY.  I realized that great music never came during any of my “brainstorming” sessions.  They were always inspired by experiences throughout my day, whether it’s talking to people or running by the lake.  Do not make the same mistakes as I did.

Get access to a music mixer online that allows for both use in web browsers (where they host it on their own servers), as well as home use on your own computer.  The main things to look for are programs that allow full use of the software via any standard keyboard, can be accessed anywhere with web browsing, has tutorials and lots of samples to help you learn, and be easy for beginners while at the same time be able to create studio-quality sound.

Before you spend on a all-in-one music mixer online that promises you an entire studio’s capabilities in one program, I would look to something simpler, more realistic, and easier to use.  Start with software that targets beat making specifically, as beat and rhythm are by FAR the most important components of any piece.  The good thing is that it is incredibly easy to learn for beginners, as long as you are good with rhythm.  Ideally, get something that works with your mobile device like the iPhone.  Get something relatively inexpensive (but avoid the free ones, they are all bad).

Personally, finding music mixer online that also has a community or market where people trade/buy/sell beats is great.  More and more people are collaborating online to mix and mash pieces from multiple users to create masterpieces.  That is where the future is, so getting access to an online marketplace or the like will give you a head start.  I know for a fact that Tiesto already has his own company that promotes him through beat exchange.  The simple fact is, just one spur-of-the-moment track in your mind could sell over and over again.  If it sounds great in your mind, it will sound even better composed.

I made a sellable track within two weeks of getting a music mixer online (it was actually in an IBM commericial, contact me if you’d like to hear it!).  While I did have prior production experience, I had never worked with pure software before to create music.  Take a look at http://www.musicmixeronline.cz.cc/ for a great way to get started.  This is where I began.  Good luck!
